In 2020, the Bolsa Chica Conservancy became the newest partner organization, and the first in Orange County, to host a CalNat program. Located adjacent to Bolsa Chica State Beach (one of the most popular beaches in Southern California), the California Naturalist course at Bolsa Chica Conservancy provides an opportunity to learn in a unique and variable wetland habitat. Home to year round residents as well as migratory birds, this site is a coastal refuge for wildlife both above and below the water.
