San Jose Conservation Corps
Course Description
In June 2023, San Jose Conservation Corps launched its inaugural one-week immersion California Naturalist certification course for its workforce development program Corpsmembers in Environmental Projects, Resilience Corps and Zero Waste programs. Using a hybrid of online assignments and in-person field trips, Corpsmembers were able to participate in hands-on and field based activities that focus on experiential learning and exploration of the Santa Clara Valley's natural resources with the ultimate goal of increasing the knowledge and commitment for environmental stewardship.
Dates: San Jose Conservation Corps will offer 3 California Naturalist immersion courses for their workforce development program corpsmembers on November 1 - December 16, 2024
