The CalNat Mapping tool is a simplified GIS-based map producing website you can use as an instructor or a course participant for both content delivery and logistics.
Choose from multiple basemaps and layers to explore bioregions, draw, measure, compare and contrast field sites, create maps to field trips, deliver capstone project information, and more. You can create a PDF or jpg of your map to save or print. You can also link and share your map with others via e-mail, Facebook, or Twitter.
You can play below in this website's iframe, but for best results and the full suite of options, please go directly to the California Naturalist Maps Page to create your new maps.
