Brief course description This workshop will introduce participants to the biogeography and summer flora of the Tejon Ranch. Depending on road conditions, we will explore a variety of grassland, scrubland, woodland, forest, and desert communities. Tejon Ranch is home to many special-status plant species and we expect to see some of these, including the Tehachapi buckwheat (Eriogonum callistum), which is endemic to the ranch. If we are lucky, we may even see California condors flying overhead.).
