The National Forest Foundation is offering the California Naturalist certification course in conjunction with young adult leadership development programs in the Angeles National Forest, San Gabriel Mountains National Monument, and Cleveland National Forest.

The training the young adults receive through the California Naturalist Program enhances their summer work assignments as interpreters and stewards in some of the most heavily used public open spaces in Southern California. Participants build skills and knowledge that prepare them for college and careers, and upon course completion, are eligible for four units of academic credit from UC Davis Extension.

Inclusive courses for leadership development program participants.
